The Duchess of Sussex and former actress Meghan Markle has showed her manners of being a good guest during her tour of Australia. The wife of Harry, Duke of Sussex went to the Mountain View Farm of the Woodleys, in Dubbo, Australia this Wednesday. While visiting their house, she brought along with herself homemade banana bread which she had cooked by herself. The banana bread had chocolate chips and a tiny bit of ginger in it as per the reports of Rebecca English from Daily Mail. According to the reports the bread was cooked by the duchess on the night before the visit in the Admiralty House of the Governor General of Australia.
In the words of Benita Woodley who had been part of the barbeque thrown in order to honor the royal couple, “She said if you go to someone’s house you always bring something, so she did.”
The duke and duchess of Sussex are on an exhausting trip around Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Tonga, with as many as 76 engagements that they have to attend to within 16 days. The 37 year old duchess has also recently revealed that she and the duke are expecting their first child within the next spring.
The banana bread however, seems to be a splendid hit. The love for bananas by the duke and duchess has also been revealed in the past, although it didn’t make its appearance on the wedding cake of the couple. But this recipe by the duchess sure makes us wonder at what the recipe might be.
